Abraxas is seeking a highly experienced senior software developer, to maintain our current applications and to develop our next generation of products.  We seek individuals, who are highly motivated, with a strong desire to produce the highest quality software.

 

Technical Requirements

    • Minimum five years experience as a senior software developer
    • Expert in object-oriented development
    • Expert in service-oriented architecture
    • Expert in n-tier design and development
    • Minimum five years experience with the .NET platform
      • C#
      • ASP.net
      • WinForms applications
    • Minimum five years experience using SQL Server 2000/2005/2008
      • Expert in data modeling
      • Through understanding of the rules of data normalization
      • Expert in designing and writing efficient stored procedures
    • Ability to design a software solution
    • Web technologies
      • HTML
      • XML
      • CSS
      • Javascript
    • Software design skills/tools
      • Visio
      • Creation of class diagrams
    • Expert with the Microsoft Office suite of products
      • Word
      • Excel
      • Powerpoint
    • Bachelor's degree (preferably in Computer Science)

    Knowledge of the following is not required but is a plus:

    • WCF
    • DevExpress
    • Visual Studio Team Edition
    • Team Foundation Server

    • HIPAA
