Abraxas operates in a 64-bit environment allowing your practice to take advantage of these newer technologies that make more system resources available to your practice at a significantly reduced cost.

CCHIT Certified®

Abraxas EMR version 4.1 is a CCHIT Certified 08 amubulatory EHR product.


CCHIT Certified software certification designates that a certified medical software has been tested and has passed inspection of 100 percent of the criteria for electronic medical records software concerning:

  • Functionality (ability to create and manage electronic records for all patients, as well as automating workflow in a physician’s office)
  • Interoperability (ability to ex-change information with other systems such as pharmacies and laboratories)
  • Security (ability to protect patients’ information)

CCHIT Certified® is a registered mark of the Certification Commission for Healthcare Information Technology.
