For prenatal visits, the obstetrician has on-screen access to the electronic version of the antepartum record based on the standard ACOG forms such as:

The antepartum record can be faxed directly to Labor and Delivery whenever you need.

Gynecology Visits

Abraxas gynecology workflow includes “Well Woman” visits and a series of “common problem-focused” visits, such as:

Visit documentation follows the standard SOAP note format.

Demographical/Historical information may be entered by the patient via an optional Patient Portal module.

Image Management

Diagnostic images such as ultrasounds/sonograms, or X-rays/mammograms can be accessed directly from the patient’s electronic chart. Comfortably draw and make notes directly on these patient-specific images, using pen-tablet computers.

Lab Interface

For those labs with an interface to Abraxas EMR, prenatal lab results automatically populate the lab page of the antepartum record.

Abraxas’s lab interface uses industry standard HL7 format which provides the capability to interface to any national, regional or even inhouse lab equipment.

Abraxas EMR provides templates to record inhouse manual tests such as a Urine Dip test. Abraxas EMR allows trending of test results and observation values, for a quick visual display.

Clinical Alerts

Clinical alerts are more than just helpful reminders. They can be set to automatically trigger based on certain clinical conditions in an effort to reduce liability and medical errors.

Referrals

Track referral sources and keep in touch with them via standard as well as customized referral letters.
